Born in 1981 in Milan, the Memphis movement rocked the design world for nearly a decade. To coincide with the opening of an exhibition dedicated to its founder, the Made in Design Gallery is also spotlighting this movement on the 6th floor of Printemps Haussmann.
The exhibition serves as an homage to Masanori Umeda and the Memphis movement.
In an exclusive preview in France, it will unveil the fabulous new "Night Tales" collection by Masanori Umeda, which echoes the Tawaraya boxing ring, the ultimate symbol of the Memphis movement, of which it will also feature several exceptional and rarely exhibited pieces.
