MADE IN DESIGN EVENTS FOR PARIS DESIGN WEEK

Over the Maison & Objet trade exhibit and the Paris Design Week from 3 and 20 September, 2020, Made In Design invited design lovers to multiple related events.

September is an important time for design, with the Maison & Objet fair and Paris Design Week happening simultaneously. For this occasion, Made In Design announced its participation in the very first podcast created by the Maison & Objet team, all while taking part in Paris Design Week and collaborating with the magazine Intramuros.
Catherine Colin, Made In Design founder, participated in the first-ever podcast created by Maison & Objet in the presence of Philippe Brocart, Maison & Objet exhibit General Director. It was produced by Hélène Aguilar, founder of the podcast Where is the Beauty, and includes a series of business interviews, conducted in unusual places, and exchanges with inspiring French personalities from the world of design and architecture.

In parallel, on the occasion of the Paris Design Week, Made In Design is collaborating with the magazine Intramuros, which is installing a café and pop-up store in the heart of the freshly renovated Pierre Cardin museum. Ideally situated in the Marais district, the museum is a highlight of Paris Design Week. From 3 to 8 September 2020, Made In Design operated a 7m2 stand, where a selection of accessories, small furniture and lighting fixtures were available. Here’s a foretaste of the curated pieces that will be on display: the Setago lamp and Mezcla table by Jaime Hayon; the Cumulus rug by Guillaume Delvigne; the Roly Poly and Rico armchairs by Faye Toogood and Trine Andersen; and the Series 7 chair by Arne Jacobsen.
We’re certainly spoilt for choice with this line-up of exciting design events.
