To celebrate the holiday season, a retrospective of illustrations from our Christmas catalogs will take place at Printemps Hausmann.
For more than 155 years, the drawings from the Printemps Christmas catalogs have delighted kids and adults alike. Every year, an illustrator is selected to add a bit of magic to the catalogs during the holiday season. More than mere catalog drawings, these illustrations offer a treasure trove of the department store’s artistic heritage. From Jules Chéret in the late 1870s to Aurélie Fronty, the most recent illustrator selected in 2021, visitors can discover a selection of illustrations on display for the first time in an exhibit at Printemps Haussmann.
